Serving Our Neighbors During COVID-19

As our situation rapidly changes, we are doubling down our commitment to be a church that exists not just for ourselves, but for the good of all our neighbors.  This will never change, but changing circumstances will require wisdom, courage and creativity as we are joining God who is at work to renew the world.

In this time of isolation and fear, we start right where we live.  What does it look like for you to be an agent of renewal on your block or in your building?  Recently, Pastor Matt shared the flyer below with each home on his family’s block.  As you think about the people on your block or in your building… how can you be an agent of hope and renewal?

 Caring for homeless neighbors 

We are working with ministry partners at Uptown Community Services to continually show up for our most vulnerable and marginalized neighbors.  In the short term, Uptown needs more volunteers to distribute mail and provide other essential services for our homeless neighbors.  

 Continual connection and care for neighbors in Tijuana

We are in constant contact with our ministry partners at Global Immersion and Borderlands, who focus on ministering among our neighbors in Tijuana.  We're exploring practical ways we can be helpful partners, friends and family in this unprecedented time.
